Your first agent
Write an ideal-customer brief, let the fleet planner propose agents, review, and turn them loose.
Agents are what leadrack is for, and the fastest way to a working fleet is to describe your ideal customer once and let the planner do the choosing.
Write the brief
An agent's brief is your ideal customer profile (ICP) in plain language: who buys, what they look like, what signals matter. For example:
B2B SaaS companies, 10 to 100 people, that run outbound sales and are hiring their first sales or RevOps roles. US or EU. Not agencies, not e-commerce.
You can add structure alongside the prose: company-size bounds, keywords that matter, hard excludes, and a persona ("the person we want to reach: head of sales") that the scoring and person-finding steps read.
Draft my fleet
From the agents page, Draft my fleet hands your brief to a planner that proposes three to six agents, each with concrete configuration. Which subreddits to watch, which repos, which news query, which sources fit a brief like yours at all. The planner searches the web while it plans, so it names scouting grounds that actually exist. Before you see a proposal, each one is also probed against its real source, so the review card can say "47 posts this week" instead of hoping.
You review each proposal and keep, edit, or discard it. Nothing runs until you say so. A planned agent is created through the same form as a hand-built one, so plan limits and validation apply either way.
Thresholds and caps
Two knobs control how much lands on your board:
- Score threshold: every candidate is scored 0 to 100 against your brief, and only leads at or above the threshold become cards. Start around the default and raise it if the board feels noisy.
- Daily cap: the most leads one agent may add per day, so a lucky sweep doesn't bury you.
Leads below the threshold or over the cap aren't discarded silently. Every run records what it looked at and what it rejected, and you can review the judgment.
Turn it on
An enabled agent runs on its own schedule, daily for most types. Your part afterwards is triage: keep, advance, or dismiss what lands. Dismissals teach the fleet, which is the subject of Tuning your ICP.
