Auto-send
The separate, higher bar an agent must clear before email leaves with nobody looking, and the five-approval ramp.
"Good enough to land on the board" and "good enough to email unattended" are different questions, and leadrack keeps them as two separate knobs.
Three modes
Each agent has a drafting mode:
- Off: the agent writes nothing.
- Draft: every accepted lead gets an unsent draft waiting in your inbox. The default for new agents.
- Send: leads that clear a second, higher bar are emailed with nobody looking.
Two thresholds
The accept threshold (default 70) decides what lands on the board. The send threshold (default 85) is a separate, higher bar. A lead scoring between the two still gets its draft, it just waits for a human. You can trust an agent's eye for the board long before you trust it with your outbox.
The ramp: five approved sends first
Even in send mode, a new agent may not send unattended until five of its drafts have been approved and sent by a human. Every time you review one of its drafts and hit send, the counter advances. Approvals earned while the agent was in draft mode count too; the ramp is a track record, not a live tally. Sends made through an API key don't count, so an agent can't clear its own ramp.
Until the ramp is cleared, qualifying leads still get drafts for you to approve, and each approval moves the agent closer to sending on its own.
The full gate
An unattended send happens only when all of these hold, checked in order: the score clears the send threshold, the ramp is cleared, the sender profile is complete including the postal address (the law doesn't care that a robot sent it), and the contact's unsubscribe link can be built. Any failure means the lead gets a draft instead, with the exact refusal reason recorded. Auto-send degrades to review, never to silence.
Sends are also bounded by your plan's daily send cap (drafts never consume it) and by everything on the sending guardrails list. A suppressed contact, an unverified domain, or a full cap stops an auto-send the same way it would stop you.
What the record shows
An auto-sent email logs both the send and the fact it was auto-sent on the lead's timeline. A reviewed send logs your approval. Either way, the board never moves silently.
